Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?

Yes, advance ticket purchase is required. You can purchase with Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. Tours typically sell out quickly and well in advance. To maximize your chances of getting the date, time and number of tickets you prefer, please book in advance. We do close registration for Booze & Bites tour 24 hours prior to the start and 2 hours prior for Cocktail tours.  However, please give us a call at 888-446-1712 and we may be able to fit you in.

For the Booze & Bites Tours, is it always the same restaurants?

To provide a fresh tour experience each time, we have different restaurants featured on each tour. We aim to mix-and-match the restaurants in such a way that you’ll get a true taste of the diverse offerings of downtown.

For the Booze & Bites Tours, will we know which restaurants we will visit before the tour?

No. Each tour is designed to be a surprise and an adventure. Come with a sense of expectancy and fun! If you are dying for an idea of the restaurants we choose from, you can check out our partner restaurants.

For the Booze & Bites Tours, how much food is served on this tour?

This tour definitely serves enough food for most.

For the Booze & Bites Tours, how many drinks are served on this tour?

We’ll sample one drink at each location and we’ll typically visit four locations on a tour.

On the Cocktail Tours, is food included?

No food is included on the tour, but we try to arrange it so the last stop serves food, allowing you to stay after the tour and order food if you wish.  We do recommend eating before the Cocktail Tour as it is scheduled to end well into the typical “dinner time”.

For the Cocktail Tour, what types of drinks are served?

We simply don’t know what the bartenders will be serving!  They know that they are vying for your vote as favorite drink so they keep that information a secret until the tour comes through the door.  It’s quite fun, really!

Is there more to the Cocktail Tour than sampling drinks?

Absolutely! Listen, you are going drinking with a local.  You are going where the locals go, where you can run into local characters and quirky shop keepers.  It’s an experience!

Should I eat anything before coming on the Cocktail tour? YES!

There is no food served throughout the tour, so we recommend eating beforehand.

Can I bring food on a Cocktail Tour?

You are welcome to bring a little food to each as we walk between locations, but please do not eat outside food at a tasting location. We also try to make sure that our final location has food available.   You can stay and dine if you wish or your tour guide will gladly direct you to a place you would like to get something to eat.

Can I order food while on the Cocktail Tour?

Because we have limited time at each place, you do not have time to order food at the first 3 locations (and often there is no food to order, as each may be a local bar). However, we try to schedule the last location for a restaurant where you may order dinner if you wish.  Your tour guide can also help refer you to another local eatery you may want to try.

I live locally, will the tours still be enjoyable for me?

Of course!   As locals, we often fall in a routine as to where we go eat.  These tours take us out of our comfort zone to try new places. Best of all, it gives us the opportunity to speak with chefs, owners and bartenders.  In addition, even if you eat or drink out in downtown regularly, here you get a chance to have a private experience with the chefs or bartenders. You are welcome to read others’ reviews of our tours on our TripAdvisor page or our Facebook page.

Can I get a refund or reschedule my tickets?

Sorry, but once tickets are purchased they cannot be refunded. By purchasing the ticket, your space is being guaranteed on the tour, and the restaurants and bars have already prepared for your arrival. Our tours often sell out. No credit (or partial credit) is allowed for partial attendance, no shows, or late arrivals. The tours depart promptly at their posted start time.  ***Should the minimum guest requirement for a tour not be met, guests will receive a FULL refund.

Where do I find parking?

Parking is very easy to find all over downtown Fernandina Beach. There are several parking areas; one of the most convenient is at the corner of Alachua and 2nd Street. You will receive more specific directions upon purchase of the tickets.

Is there seating at each stop?

Yes, there will be seating at each tasting location we visit.

What should we bring? What should we wear?

Proof of ID – we need to make sure only those guests who are over 21 years of age enjoy adult beverages.  Wear comfortable shoes as this tour can cover a distance of up to and beyond 10 city blocks. Don’t forget an umbrella for shade or inclement weather. The tours go out rain or shine.

What is not included on the tours? Gratuity for your tour host is not included.

Although it is not mandatory, all gratuities are appreciated! A standard gratuity is 10% to 20% of the retail price of the tour.

Are there any age restrictions?

As both the Cocktail Tours and the Booze & Bites tour offer alcoholic drink samplings, all legal drinking age restrictions apply. (21 years and up only). Please be prepared to show your valid, government-issued ID. We reserve the right to card, and, if a tour guest is found to be underage, we cannot take you on a tour with alcohol.

Are there restrooms available along the way?

Yes, there will be opportunities to use the restrooms of the establishments we visit throughout the tour.

Do you offer tours in any other language than English?

Tours are offered in English.  However, we can make arrangements for a Spanish tour host, upon request.

Can I smoke on the tour?

Smoking is not allowed indoors, but you can smoke outdoors. Please just be courteous to your fellow tour goers.

Can I bring a dog or service animal?

Pets are not allowed on this tour, but we may be able to set up a tour of dog-friendly restaurants for your group. For more information, please contact us directly.  Of course, service animals are welcome on the tour.

Is the tour wheelchair accessible?

Yes, our tours are wheelchair and handicap accessible! When purchasing tickets, please let us know if a guest is special needs so we can assure that the locations we choose for that tour are appropriate.  We are touring historic Fernandina Beach and due to the age of the buildings, some special accommodations need to be made for access.

Can I request a private group tour?

Yes! You can request a private group with 10 or more guests. Additional fees may apply. Please contact us directly, and we will get right back with you to schedule. 888-446-1712
